Verdict is in, Musubi got mushed by a vehicle. Significant pelvis fracture, surgery, plates & screws will be involved. We can rebuild her, at a cost of course! Not quite six million dollars. There’s a good chance she will lose the leg. The good news is it appears her internal organs avoided trauma so the injury looks to be non life threatening if treated. Her youth and disposition is also in her favor. Everyone loves her because she such a sweetie and easy to deal with.

    WTF? Did all this happen after I saw the little cat on sunday? Sorry man. What the hell happened? She’ already got a pretty crooked tail.

    Yeah, after dinner Sunday she came inside for a short bit, I wiped her down with towel since she was wet from the rain, fed her. Didn’t see her the next morning which was very unusual. She’s never far from the house. Looked around house couple times, Dad finally found her under the hedges on Tuesday afternoon.
    AFAIK she was born with that kinked tail, it’s supposedly a fairly common genetic thing in cats in Hawaii.

    Hope she is doing better. You don’t have an NK-1124 chassis lying around to transplant her brain into, do you?
