So in the wide eyes of my co-worker’s young son, does Dad go to work with Asian James Bond?
My co-worker today told me how he brought his son by work one day and they saw my new car. Kids will notice little things, and at the time I hadn’t cut and fit in the trim plate so the PTunning tow hook mount in the front bumper was much more pronounced. Little guy asked Dad, what’s that?
Dad said as a matter of fact, “oh, it’s a machine gun.”
“You mean like James Bond?”
“Yup!”
I guess next time he comes in I’ll have to say, “hey kid, the name’s Hong, James Hong.” Oh wait, that’s a real persons name!
Hm, so maybe that can be my next year’s Haloween plan? Originally if I had gotten the white I had a perfect plan, I could cosplay Speed Racer! Find some red masking tape to lay out the red M, make or borrow a magnetic circle 5 for the doors. I already have a white Racer helmet, would need to find a little too tight blue polo shirt, a red scarf, and white jeans. Pretty easy and I’m sure would work great driving around!
Oh well!
Should get a bolt that fits the adaptor, cut the head off, turn it down, and thread it for 1/2″ x 28 TPI. Then you can put a cheap AR flash supressor on the end and make it look right! I’m sure someone has a random one floating around in a parts box somewhere.
I have an extra A2 birdcage flash suppressor if you want it.
That’d be pretty cool, but once I get my official plates I won’t have that spud open. I guess only for race day.
There are 1/2″ x 28 TPI adaptors with various bore sizes meant to go over .22 rimfire rifle barrel muzzles that are secured with setscrews. Can probably get one of those and just weld it onto the head of a bolt and put the flash supressor on that. Probably the easiest way. Too bad you don’t have 2 tow loops!
Could install it on the rear tow loop! Dont know if can get just the adapter bolt without the lisence frame though, be expensive. Cheaper to try find a OEM tow loop bolt at junkyard that fits and cut the head off.
