Beer Is Good – Mt. Begbie Tall Timber Ale

The other selection from the Revelstoke’s brewery, Mt. Begbie, available in cans for easier transport. Pours a dark amber with small head. Fairly forward hops aroma, Dark roasted malt. Medium thick mouthfeel.

    I dare say this was a fairly generic North American brown ale. Not saying I didn’t like it, but it didn’t stand out amongst its peers. Between this and the Mt. Begbie Kolsch, I’ll take the Kolsch.
