Hypocrite

Older female in a Saturn Ion fully wallpapered across the back bumper with anti-abortion stickers speeding (like freeway speeding) through the school zone by Royal Elementary School.  So aborting a fetus is murder but running down a grown child is perfectly fine?  F-wit!

Hiroki no Like!

There are three things (other than crossover K-pop bands) that will make me change the station when they come on KORL – Fukuyama Masaharu (sorry, Tarepanda-hi!), Dreams Come True, and Kimaguren.  Of course it sucks equally when I change to a English-language station and get Jack Johnson or Bruno Mars!

No Lane Change for You!

Funny to see a confrontational, road-rage driver in a white Forester XT with a “coexist” religious tolerance bumper sticker!

Harinezumi no Koi

Is ELT aiming for a comeback?  Another of their tracks has made the Oricon rankings.  Again, Mochida’s voice is an octave above her traditional range back when they were big.  This latest “retro” track would be right at home in a 1980’s Miyazaki film.

‘Tard-ism

OK, I’ve seen something that looks more stupid than wearing one’s sunglasses on the back of the head like Guy Fieri – wearing one’s glasses across the front of the face immediately below the nose!  Granted, you either need glasses with extremely long temples, or have a receding lower face more chinless than Rowan Atkinson, or as in the case I witnessed, have the glasses canted crooked so one earpiece is above an ear, and the other just wedged against the opposite cheek!  It’s the ‘Tard version of friendly mutton chops.

Paying the Bills

“Big Boys Cry”.  Guess Amuro Namie needs to pay some bills.  Amazingly terrible.  It’s like maybe five notes.  At least that gives her a better chance of actually being able to perform it live without having to hit the pre-recorded playback button.

The Formula Works

After hearing the word “boy” and weird syllable breaks in Nihongo words on one of the songs on KORL during the weekly ranking countdown, I guessed it was one of those crossover K-pop bands, and lo and behold: T-ARA!

Damn Ninjas!

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu – once again proving that a vocaloid can sound more like a real human being than an actual person.
