Buffalo Boys Hoagies<\/p><\/div>\n

Few weeks back I got a chance to stop in to Buffalo Boys Hoagies<\/a> to grab lunch. We’d done their register so I knew about them opening, but I wasn’t the one who worked on it so no one there knew who I was. I was there strictly as a normal customer. The store has a warehouse feel to it, its actually a small space, but the open ceiling and space gives it that feel.\u00c2\u00a0 There’s about 8 tables to sit at, otherwise its take out for you! So I placed my order, I don’t know what I was thinking, I guess I wasn’t feeling very meaty, and ordered the Buffalo Blue chicken finger sub, from a place touting New York style hoagies. I know, I know, what a fool.<\/p>\n

The sub arrives, breaded fried chicken tenders dipped in Franks hot sauce with shredded lettuce and tomato dressed with a blue cheese dressing. The bread is nice fresh toasted Bale bread, crunchy outside, soft inside. The chicken is Tyson, which actually is ok, but a touch dissapointing that it isn’t scratch made. I ordered it hot, the Frank’s sauce is pretty vinagary, my sandwhich is nowhere close to what I’d consider hot. Honestly I’ve had hotter from The Clown and The King.<\/p>\n

The place is clean, the service fine. Value isn’t exactly cheap, but not entirely out of line. From this one food order, right now I’d have to give them a middle of the line 2.5 out of four NY monkeys. I think I’d have to get one of their steak hoagies to really make a fair and complete judgement.\u00c2\u00a0 Their late hours until 3AM is an interesting decision. This strip at the end of King Street doesn’t strike me as a late night venue, but maybe it’ll work. There’s limited parking stalls behind the store, otherwise street parking along King.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
