Well, NAPA actually found the correct hose! It’s not quite exact, but looks close enough at the important parts. \"img_0915.JPG\"<\/a>\"img_0916.JPG\"<\/a>Started the process of changing the hose. To do that, needed to remove radiator so I drained it. Dude, if you wondered what brand of shoyu was using in the brakes, you’ll wonder what brand latte was running in the radiator! Ok, there’s a tinge of green at the begining, but by the time it was almost all drained….<\/p>\n

So I looked for a while and debated what to do about the A\/C. Now A\/C is one of modern mankind’s greatest inventions. All the bits were there, but I checked earlier and the magic ingredient had all leaked out to go make friends with the ozone layer. I finally decided that since the AE86 was supposed to be the less used, SCCAer, and\u00c2\u00a0thinking what were the chances that I was going to fix the A\/C, that I’m going to take it out. Proceeded to unhook all the bits, I didn’t go crazy and yank it out willy nilly,\u00c2\u00a0so if I were ever so inclined (yeah, right) I could possibly put it back in. The other thing with this is with all the A\/C stuff out, it was much easier to work on the power steering hoses.<\/p>\n

So tonight, its left uncompleted because I’ll have to go to parts store tomorrow for shorter belt for the p\/s, and find a replacement o-ring for p\/s fitting and the radiator draincock.<\/p>\n
