\"Yebisu_kohaku_color\"<\/a>\"Yebisu_kohaku_front\"<\/a>Wow!\u00c2\u00a0 This mass-produced beer encroaches on the flavor territory of many good Japanese jibiiru.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0As the name “Kohaku” implies, this amber lager is distinct from its pale lager forbear.\u00c2\u00a0Released on 10 November 2010, this limited seasonal variety from Sapporo\u00c2\u00a0Beer’s more upscale division brings a warmer, richer malt flavor to the table.\u00c2\u00a0 The pour, head, and mouthfeel\u00c2\u00a0is in line with what you get from the standard Yebisu, but there is a deeper flavor\u00c2\u00a0and less of the ethanol bite common to JDM production beers.\u00c2\u00a0 This easily makes me twice as happy as regular Yebisu.\u00c2\u00a0 If I can’t find any interesting jibiiru to bring back with me this time around, I’m seriously bringing some of this back!<\/p>\n
